I have provided editorial consulting services and developed style guides for several organizations.
Most recently, I served as Board Chair for Magazine Training International from November 2015 to December 2021. This organization works “to encourage, strengthen, and provide training and resources to Christian magazine publishers as they seek to build the church and reach their societies for Christ.” I also contributed to MTI’s blog.
I edited modules for the United Bible Societies’ Publishing Institute courses.
Previously, I worked at David C. Cook, helping to further that ministry’s publisher development efforts through the International Christian Publishing Institute and resources such as InterLit, a print magazine, and Cook Partners, an online magazine and a daily blog. Although ChristianTrade Association International, the ministry I led, and CBA: The Association for Christian Retail are no longer in existence, these organizations provided a number of opportunities for international fellowship and professional development, and I am grateful for their past work.
